Our Story
From a vegetable farm to a growing community enterprise.
Saliamo Agri-Ventures was founded in 2022 with a focus on sustainable agriculture, vegetable production and creating meaningful economic opportunities through farming.
We began by producing fresh vegetables including capsicum, tomatoes, managu (African nightshade), and sukuma wiki (kales) through both open-field and greenhouse farming.
As our experience grew, we saw an important opportunity: farmers could earn more when they were connected not only to production, but also to processing, value addition and sustainable markets.
In 2025, we expanded into drying, packaging and selling African leafy vegetables, helping extend shelf life, reduce post-harvest losses and create additional value from farm produce.
Farmers should benefit from the value they help create.
We are committed to building an agricultural enterprise where farmers do not only produce raw materials, but also participate in and benefit from the value created along the agricultural value chain.
